Admissions

The admissions process is designed to emphasize the basic philosophy of Sherrill’s University of Barber & Cosmetology. It is important that each student be treated as an individual and that care and concern are demonstrated during the enrollment process. Sherrill’s University reviews applications and admits students on a monthly basis.

We encourage you to download and review the following SBCU documents below prior to starting the admissions process.

To apply for admission, applicants must have a high school diploma, GED or its equivalent. Sherrill’s will accept as students, persons who do not have a high school diploma or GED Certificate, with approval of the Director of Education and School Director. 

How The Enrollment Process Works:

Inquire: Let us know you'd like to attend. You can do this by clicking Request More Info button at the top of the page. 

02.

Open House: Attend an open house session to learn about the programs offered and what you will learn, as well as how to pay.

03.

Apply: Submit your application for acceptance along with a non-refundable $50 fee. Usually done at Open house events.

04.

Enrollment: If accepted you will be forwarded an enrollment contract along with a payment link to pay your deposit.

05.

Begin Classes: A start date will be scheduled, and you will begin your path towards becoming a license professional in your career of choice!
